CALL FOR ENTRIES:

Regional Juried Exhibit at the Nurture Nature Center, Easton, PA. “Green

Visions: Exploring our Sustainable Future through Humor, Fantasy, Wit & Wisdom.” $25 for up to three entries. Two-dimensional works no larger than 42 inches in any direction. Any media. Opening Reception - Thursday, July 19, 6-8 pm. Awards Ceremony at 7 pm. Show Dates - July 19th - October 4, 2012. Best of show - $250. 2nd Prize - $125. 3rd Prize - $75.

For this show, artists will be challenged to create works inspired by nature and/or critical environmental issues that explore ideas for fostering a more sustainable community. This exhibition is open to artists in the region (PA, NJ, NY) and is part of an effort to spark dialogue and raise awareness of the role creativity and self-expression play in germinating ideas for our sustained future. Partial proceeds from the sale of work from the exhibition and entry fees will be donated the Nurture Nature Center. Artists will receive the remainder of sale proceeds.
