PERKIOMEN VALLEY ART CENTER HOSTS
BUCKS COUNTY ARTIST DOT BUNN

Harleysville, PA: Studio oil painter Dot Bunn will present a program on Wednesday, May 17th at 7:30pm at Encore Experiences (Harleysville Senior Center) Maple Avenue, Harleysville. The program is open to the public free of charge.

Ms. Bunn’s program Developing a Bucks County Landscape Painting will explore the process of creating a painting from concept to finish. She will explain the methods she uses to compose her work, select a color palette and her various stages of painting. Dot states that “good paintings are the result of intelligent planning and the endless study of technique and process.”

Dot Bunn’s work has been featured at numerous solo and juried exhibitions and she is the recipient of many awards. Dot has a strong commitment to working with traditional methods. As a resident of Bucks County her involvement in the art community includes class room teaching, lectures and workshops.

Changing Art Gallery Artists Needed!
The Renovated Museum has two updated changing galleries waiting for your art!
As you most likely know, the museum house has been under renovation for an extended period of time. We are expecting to have a soft opening during the Sapsucker Festival of 2017. New changes to the museum include the opening of a previously walled over door, new exhibits on the first floor, a reference library, interpretation of the murals in the drawing room and TWO updated and improved changing galleries. That being said, this email is to inquire if you are interested in displaying your work within the new galleries. The plan is to have at least one artist, perhaps two, for each changing gallery time period. As before, we are planning on three, three and half month rotations of art with a reception at each opening. Artwork again would be for sale with the potential of having smaller pieces of your work for sale within the gift shop. We would be advertising the art gallery at the front of the site and also online. Bird and nature art is the requirement as that is our focus here at Audubon. If you are interested, please email Stephanie Britten at sbritten@audubon.org with your contact information, online portfolio link or images of your work.
