WATERCOLOR, Margaret Dawson Monday, 10am-Noon September 12, 2011 Enjoy learning the basics of watercolor from still life set-ups, photos, and on location. Will also work with some collage and learn composition, color, design, and techniques. Learn to enjoy painting and have fun.
PASTEL, Teresa DeSeve Monday, 1-4pm September 26, 2011 “Weaving Color,” The Art of Pastel. Always loved pastel but know little or nothing about it? Explore the medium in depth by studying types of pastels, papers, techniques, pastel artists past and present. Using still life, model, and plein air, students can advance at their own pace. All levels welcome.
WATERCOLOR, Ann Brennan Monday, 7:30-9:30pm September 12, 2011 What makes good paper, brushes, paint? In watercolor, what is sedimentary, opaque and staining? These questions will be answered as well as many more! For the “seasoned painter” new surfaces to paint, new techniques and lots of inspiration! All levels.
ALL MEDIA, Pat DeVirgilis Tuesday, 9:30am-12:30pm September 20, 2011. Find your own personal sense of expression in your medium of choice. Learn to interpret various subject matter your way. The benefits of utilizing your PC and camera as effective tools in the development of your work. Instructor will offer demos in the use the computer and your medium. The class utilizes still life, photography and an occasional model in a setting. Intermediate and advanced levels.

WATERCOLOR, Jo Ann Cooksey Bono Wednesday, 1-3pm September 21, 2011 Watercolor and Beyond! Students will explore a multitude of techniques, materials, and subjects to create exciting compositions. Visual weight, use of multiple mediums and “finding the story” will be emphasized. Critiques enable students to develop evaluation skills to improve their work.

Watercolor, Frank Batson Thursday September 15, 2011 9:30am-12:30pm The object of this class is to develop and enhance your style of watercolor painting. Focus on composition, technique, color and creative originality. Also other media will be explored to gain a greater overall appreciation of our art world.
WATERCOLOR, Laurie Daddona Thursday, 1-4pm September 22, 2011 Concentration on composition, watercolor technique, color mixing, and design elements. Enhance your skills while you explore this wonderful medium. All levels.
WATERCOLOR, Michael Adams Friday, 9:30-12:30pm September 16, 2011 Improve your painting skills through an in-depth study of watercolor techniques, materials and processes including transparent and opaque watercolor blending. Areas explored will be urban and natural landscape, animals, nature, and portraiture.
WATERCOLOR, Jo Ann Cooksey Bono Friday, 1pm-3pm September 30, 2011 For BEGINNERS. Basic techniques and materials will be explored. Students with little or no experience in drawing or painting are welcomed as well as seasoned artists who are interested in a refresher course. Critiques at each class enable students to develop evaluation skills and the appropriate vocabulary to improve their work.
