8 week sessions - $85.00

(Limited to 15 students)

 

Spring 2012 starts Feb. 18

1-2:30 pm - All Media (ages 6 and up)

Young artists explore self expression using a variety of materials and methods.  Age appropriate projects are designed to be artistically challenging.  (8 weeks)

Spring 2012 starts Feb. 18

3 pm-4:30 pm - Basic Drawing  (ages 9 and up)

Students will learn pen and ink techniques, light and shadow, realistic drawing and drawing from the imagination.  (8 weeks)

Instructors:  Jo Ann Cooksey Bono and Mary Vogel Lozinak

Ages 6 to 13/Cost $125 per session

8 sessions in June, July and August 2011

 

Jo Ann teaches an introduction to basic drawing skills and techniques to improve your artwork from 10 a.m. until the lunch break each day.  From 12:15 until 2 p.m., Mary will involve the students in “hands on” projects such as collage,  papermaking, tee shirt printing, 3-d design and sculpy clay.  Friday’s “Graduation Day” includes an art show, award ceremony and reception for parents, siblings, grandparents and friends.

All supplies are included.  Students provide their own lunch.  A refrigerator is available and the building is air-conditioned.  This is the 15th year to run this successful program.  Both instructors are professional artists are professional artists with State Police and Child Abuse Clearances.

(In all fairness to your child, the instructors and other campers, please be kind enough to inform us of any special physical or behavioral needs that your child may have.)
