If you’ve never been to a meeting with GNAL, this is the one to attend!

  • Event is FREE open to the public and our members.
  • Do you want to get to know our GNAL family and see exciting NEW events we have planned for this year?
  • Members, bring business cards to share with others and participate in our NEW member entrepreneur promotion.

  • We will be hearing from the internationally known Jim McFarlane including a demo on ink resist.

Our GNAL Second Sunday Event is starting off with an Open House on September 9th.

Jim McFarlane, AWS, will present a demo of the Ink Resist technique beginning at 2:45pm. Ink Resist is a unique technique that employs India ink and both the application of paint and the removal of paint. It is an unpredictable method of painting that offers exciting and creative results. Any subject–costumed figures, still life objects, animals and landscapes are suitable subjects.

Saturday, September 22
9 AM – 3 PM

Meet up: Norristown Area High School (Burnside entrance) at 9:00AM

Hagey Coach will provide a bus to take us to the trolley starting point at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts for a 10:15AM start.
There is a cafe and rest room at that stop. The tour is 2 hours in length.

Cost: $45 per person (not including lunch)

The trolley will finish the trip in the historic district for lunch at the Bourse at the Historic District in Philadelphia around 12:15PM.

The Bourse is a new fun food court that does not have the usual restaurants. Some of the restaurants that will be there are Blue Bird Distilling, Egyptian Faire, Chaat and Chai, Baby Bruno, South Philly Grub House, Vera Pasta, and Prescription Chicken. There will be 1 hour and 30 minutes for lunch. We will be back on the bus by 1:45PM and back to Norristown by 3:00PM.

BEER & TRIVIA – GNAL is holding a Beer and Trivia night | $20 admission Concession stand with be serving bratwurst and hotdogs, potato salad, sauerkraut and of course a nice selection of Beer as well as softer beverages! Doors Open at 5:30 pm and Trivia starts at 6:30 pm. Located at 800 West Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19403.
